Information: I do what i say and show what i do. The key to accomplish something is to work as hard as you can to accomplish it.

Mother of two beautiful girls working for my college degree.Mr. Hansler's 5th grade class at Kapowsin Elementary School. I am a very proud parent of one of the children in the class. They have taken it upon themselves to replace the only playground that existed in the community of Graham. It was located at Frontier Park and was deemed unsafe and was torn down in the fall of 2009. Pierce County Parks has committed to replacing the equipment but has said that due to the current economic climate, they don't see this being done for several years. The replacement cost has been estimated at $200,000.00.This is a huge task that the 5th grade class has taken on and they can't do it without a lot of support from the residents and businesses of Graham and the surrounding areas located in Pierce County. This is extremely important to the children of this community as there is not another playground in at least a 12 mile radius of Frontier Park. Although Graham is spread out over a large area, it is places such as playgrounds where families can meet and come together that give it its sense of community. These places become even more important in these economic conditions when families are staying closer to home and are depending on the community social and recreational gathering places. This was the only one in Graham as there is no community center for the children in the area. The children in this class are committed and will be doing everything they can to bring a playground back to their community for all the residents of Graham and the surrounding area to enjoy. As parents, we are very proud of these kids for seeing the need and wanting to do something about it. Please, don't tell these children they have taken on the impossible, instead show them what everyone coming together can accomplish. What a wonderfully valuable lesson for these children and one that will benefit them for the rest of their lives and in so many ways. I do what i say and show what i do. I am driven, confident and persuasive.I loved making a difference in the lives of ALL of the children. I don't shout or jump about..Or have to talk real loud. When you see me passing, It ought to make you proud. I say, It's in the click of my heels, The bend of my hair, the palm of my hand, The need of my care.'Cause I'm a woman..Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me...
